Where did October go?

Isn't it amazing how the older you get the faster time passes by? Here is October a glance.

October 2-4th, our family traveled to Laramie to visit Jake's sister's family. We got to eat Olive Garden and take Callie bowling for the first time
October 6, 2009, I have my 20 week dr. appointment. Everything checked out fine and I'm growing normally.
October 9, 2009, Jake and Callie went to Bridgeport to spend time with Grandma and Grandpa Frickey while I worked with my students on NE all-state choir music.
October 10, 2009, Jake, my Dad, and Tyler went to the opening day of duck hunting. I took my students to all-state tryouts and Callie got to play in the first snow of the year. That night we went to some friend's house for dinner and had a lot of fun.
October 17, 2009, Callie, some friends, and I went to the "Kidz Explore" at the Mitchell Events Center. Callie got to try a whole bunch of new things. Some of the things she did were work on a fake car, pet a baby cow, practice getting out of a fire, and jump in the jump house. That afternoon, we went to Bridgeport to celebrate my Grandma Sharon's 70th birthday. I also found out 3 kids made all-state choir with one alternate.
October 23-24, 2009 we celebrated Callie's 2nd brithday by taking pictures, going out to lunch, carving pumpkins, and having a birthday party.
The last week of October brought in a huge snow storm that resulted in 2 snow days. Callie, Jake and I enjoyed our time together "playing" and getting our house put together. We also got to enjoy Callie 3rd Halloween. This year she was a "good" witch.

Some milestones that Callie had taken on are couting to 10, singing twinkle, twinkle little star, talking in more compelete sentences, being more stubborn than ever, saying her prayers, and winning the hearts of her parents. She loves Wonder Pets and can sing along with the theme song. She also loves her friends and asked about them frequently. Books are also in her list of favorites.
I personally can't believe how much they grow and change in such a short time. I am trying to enjoy each day for what it's worth as I know in less than four months our world as we know it will change again with the birth of Lillian.
